Inspired by Egyptian culture, we have created a unique, special, and captivating fabric collection. Using classic Egyptian papyrus as our starting point, we have worked with different textures, playing with the original colours of this enigmatic civilization’s art.
We are introducing two different versions, one based on digital printing, similar to previous Fama Sofas collections, and another that is truly a major worldwide innovation, which is the transformation of these large-scale designs with jacquard weaving.
Until now, weaving machinery could only create a maximum width of 35 for the rapport, which did not allow us to reproduce this type of design across the entire width of the piece. The result is spectacular, almost like a large tapestry.
